The historic vessel, built in 1917, is listed on the National and State registers of Historic Places. The M.V. Commander is US Coast Guard licensed and inspected, with a certified captain and crew.
From May 1st through October, the M.V. Commander cruises on the Hudson river from West Haverstraw, West Point and Peekskill for charter parties and group excursions.
